Space Shift

This is a simple turn-based rogue-like with a narrative. Thanks for checking it out!

You can also play with the arrow keys and space bar.

Note: The boss cannot be defeated by stomping it. Use the environment to win. Before I ran out of time, I intended to allow the boss stage to be repeated so you could use trial and error to discover this.

About 95% of the code was new for this project; the rest was helper classes I adapted from other projects of mine. I did the code and art. My brother contributed sound editing and music.

UPDATE: Version 1.0.1 fixes a shader bug that someone informed me about...turns out my PC's GPU is very syntax-lenient. Uploaded after the game jam deadline.

UPDATE AGAIN: And Version 1.0.2 should fix another shader bug that caused streaking lines on some Macs, apparently. Thanks for pointing that out, Fivemedia!
